FAVORITE PET STORIES
 Athena was a dog. She looked black just like Blackie. She got
sick and she died. I loved her very much and so much. She was
alive a long time ago. I remember loving her and feeding her.
We went to the store and found a scrap book and we got some animals
stickers, went home and made a scrap book of her so that we will
always remember her. Thank you, that's all.

I had the best dog in the world! Her name was Inga. Inga was
very smart. Every day she would walk my brother and me to the
bus stop and wait with us until the school bus picked us up.
Inga also knew when to come and meet us when the bus dropped
us off after school. No one would tell her, she just knew when
to come! She was the greatest, smartest and most loving animal
I have ever met.

Five years ago we got Curt from a neighbor who rescued him from
a life in the street. He's come a long way since then. What makes
him special is that he tells me when it's time to go to bed.
Every night around the same time he calls me by meowing loudly
until I go to bed. I forgot to say, Curt's a cat. He loves snuggling
on my lap when I read in bed and stays by my side all night long.
I love Curt!

My parents had just saved a 3-week-old puppy from the shelter,
which they named Travis. Right away, they went to my Grandparent's
house to tell them, and to surprise my Grandmother, whose birthday
it was. So as soon as they got to the house, Travis walked right
over to the fireplace and tinkled!
